replace “When a Monster ceases to be a Monster, all Adventurers that weren’t that Monster gain 1000 - X Merit, to a minimum of 0, where X is the Havoc of that Monster.” with

When a Monster ceases to be a Monster, all non-Unconscious Adventurers that weren’t that Monster gain 1000 - X Merit, to a minimum of 0, where X is the Havoc of that Monster. Unconscious Adventurers gain half that amount.

Make a new rule titled “Reset” with subrules of each Adventurer’s name containing the text

The Adventurer whose name matches this rule may remove all of their boons if the date is before the 20th of November by repealing this rule.

I feel like there should be some consequence to being Unconscious
also I thought exorcist would be more effective but it’s way too slow

So, two things in one Proposal, and I’m not exactly sold on either. I can see why you would want to ditch Exorcism, maybe, rather than training to switch one boon per battle.

More significantly, I’ve been against heavier death consequences since the dynasty started, because of how easily the Monster can target down certain humans. The dynamic would turn toward a FFA.

fair enough. i thought since nobody was knocked unconscious last battle, it would be an appropriate time to propose this shift. i’ll think about it some more but still want unconsciousness to something

It does a lot, imo. It stops actions, can only be reversed once per battle, and if all humans are Unconscious, the Monster maxes out havoc.

But you mean personal consequences to the human, and that turns the game from 1 vs team toward FFA.  against

The Duke was knocked unconscious at the end of the last Battle.

I agree with TyGuy here; I really don’t like how this will motivate Adventurers to attack their companions-in-arms, something that you may remember has never actually been banned.  against
