In the rule “Items”, append the following to the effect of the Magnet item:
If this would cause the Slug of Death’s position to be forward of another Snail’s, instead change that Snail’s position to match its position.
Undo all dynastic actions performed since the start of Race 2. Increase the Fame of the Snails named Habanero and JonathanDark by 5.
Also against this; a bit silly to undo Habanero and JD’s clever strategy to win the race. Sets a bad precedent (if one of you uses a weakness in the rules to get ahead in the future, do you really want the pointy end of the “propose to undo it” sword pointed at you?)
Well, one could argue that using the Magnet in a way that doesn’t move all Snails was illegal

@Desertfrog: Which Snails weren’t moved by the Magnet? Slingshot Sam was the only one I’m aware of, and his Movements rules state “Slingshot Sam cannot move by normal means”.
It may be debatable whether or not Slingshot Sam should have been pulled by the Magnet, but that’s no reason to undo the whole Race, in my opinion.
I think Desertfrog is talking about the rest of the Snails at 0cm during the first 2 Magnet pulls. I’d argue that it’s impossible to pull a Snail towards you if they already have your exact position, so it’s completely fine to not pull those Snails (and Discarding is not part of an atomic action, so the impossibility of a step doesn’t render the whole action impossible).
I suppose you could say that it’s impossible to fulfill “all snails moved 5cm towards you” and therefore impossible to carry out the Magnet effect as stated, but if we accept the premise that “all” even includes those for which the action would be impossible then the whole dynasty just falls apart. Things like “Halve the Fame of all Snails who are on the Track but failed to finish the Race” couldn’t happen because say, TSoD is on the track, failed to finish the Race, but does not have a tracked Fame.

I disagree with this as a CfJ. I think the rules simply didn’t include extra protections against timing and cooperating Snails. I’d rather just see a Proposal that limits timing advantages. I also don’t think the Race results need to be undone.
Unless there’s a better argument for this, I’ll be voting no on this one.
