This Motion definitely needs its language tightened up. It should be specified that the Motion’s only effect must be to close the discussion on the Main motion. Also, as written, I’m unsure as to what the exact process for voting and resolution is. I take it voting may begin even before it is seconded? Specify that if the voting ends early (because a quorum of Aye votes is reached), the special motion is adopted. Specify that voting may not be done on the special motion if it is already LOST (if, for example, no one seconds it in time, or the mover fails to open debate in timely fashion following the seconding).
