Declaration of Victory: Declaration of Victory

Passed 7-1—more than half of active Protagonists. Twenty-four hours have elapsed since this DoV was posted. Enacted by Angry Grasshopper. Game stops until Elias IX posts an ascension address.

This is definitely one of the weirdest ways to win. Vote as you wish.

On a side note, how much time do I have to post an Ascension Address?

Also, I’m deciding between a Renaissance dynasty and a pirate dynasty. Any preferences?

against Accepting for now that Angry Grasshopper’s proposal was not self-killed (however, sometime soon we should make it clear that a voting icon appearing in comments of a CfJ, proposal, or DoV _always_ stands for a vote), I say that Elias IX has already won The First Dynasty of Seventy-Fifth Trombone.  The proposal did not say that Elias IX had achieved victory, or that he may post a declaration of victory; it simply stated that he won outright.  Is it not then already Elias IX’s dynasty?  And a narrator may not declare victory during eir own dynasty….

You should, I don’t believe that the rules for a DoV are the same for any garden variety proposal.

Good, more than half of the Protagonists have voted for the DoV—it is now enactable after 24 hours have passed since it was posted.
