In the first sentence of the dynastic rule “New Generation Events”, change the words “the Monolith” to “any Ape”.
Remove the word “secretly” where it appears in item 7 of the list in that rule.
No reason, as it stands, why this has to be an Emperor action.
This still leaves a “randomly (but not necessarily in the GNDT)” in step 3 with no immediate way to prove the fairness of that randomness.
But yes, we’ve missed two NGEs now and the active players don’t have any more dynastic actions they can take. A temporarily scammable NGE is better than a locked game.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
