If “Stage Door” enacted, replace “As a Daily Action, a Soul with at least 2 Prominence may pay 1 Prominence to change their own Gates by adding or removing a Dynasty name.” with:-

As a Daily Action, a Soul with at least 2 Prominence may pay 1 Prominence to change their own Gates by adding or removing a Dynasty name. A Dynasty name may only be added to a Soul’s Gates in this way if its Stratum is equal to or one greater than the highest Stratum already in that Soul’s Gates. (If a Soul has no names in its Gates, the highest Stratum in its Gates is considered to be zero.)

A Dynasty’s Stratum is equal to the ordinal numeral word in its designation, except for Round One, which has a Stratum of 30.

Remove the names of all Dynasties with Strata above 1 from the Gates of Souls.

Adding a little terrain to the history by requiring dynasties to be accessed in increasing ordinal order (you can’t access somebody’s Third Dynasty until you’ve accessed a Second).

I’m torn on this, because I don’t like the “daily chore” aspect much, but as it doesn’t appear to allow going backwards, maybe it’s fine?  for
