Adminned at 08 Jan 2011 19:03:12 UTC

Hello, I have discussed this in the irc and I am wanting a job as a developer obviously. So to make things fair I have decided propose a trial period. A time to paartially be a dev but also to get to know the community as many have said. I want you the people of BLOGNOMICS OPINION!!! Just put a check mark or X. And dont forget to vote.

Vote Now for Trial Period!!!

This is nomic.  All players are developers.

I think the only thing this proposal actually does is require players to vote.

for Hm you gotta go in irc to see all of it

We don’t “gotta go in irc” for anything.  The irc is not part of the gamestate.

If you want to make a proposal, you need to spell out exactly and explicitly what you want to have happen to the gamestate.  Both of your proposals so far have been filled with exposition, rather than instructions.

Oh, and dev, have you read the ruleset yet? I got the impression from when you first arrived on IRC that you hadn’t.

What do you mean, developper? For the actual website/wiki? I think we’re covered on that part, but you wouldn’t need to go through the Nomic to do that - although knowing the community would be a must, I think.

And for the Nomic game… There are no developpers - or rather, as Bucky said, we’re all Developpers. We, as Players, make the game what it is at every moment, by proposal and gameplay. You don’t need a trial to do that.

If what you mean is being an Admin, I don’t see how that would work out, since most of us don’t know you and thus don’t trust you enough for that.

For those reason, plus per Hix, IDLE AGAINST.

P.S: I’m genuinely interested as to what you consider a Developper job. I’d really like to know what you mean by that. =)

for This is a great idea.  Blognomic should totally offically fork EE and mediawiki and have a full time developer making them better than the dozens if not hundreds of developers already working on them.

lolwut? =P

In all seriousness, though, a forked EE and MediaWiki designed purely for nomics would be pretty cool. Granted, I don’t think it’s feasible.

against Since you showed up a few days ago, I haven’t seen you participating in the game at all.  Why would I want an admin who doesn’t seem interested in actually playing BlogNomic and doesn’t seem to know a thing about it?

I’m still not sure what you actually mean by “developer”. You need to spell out exactly what you mean and, crucially, not clog things up with proposals that don’t do anything.
