In the rule “Apocrypha”, after the text “The Editor must then Mark it as Provisional. ” insert this text:
The Editor shall then make a blog post announcing the source and name of the new rule, whether a Map was used and (if so) who drew the Map.
The point of the anonymity and date delays was to obfuscate who had filed what, so that it wasn’t too obvious what players were up to. If you wanted Maps to be open and for potential scams to be neon-lit, we may as well just have the Mapmaker add the rule directly to the ruleset when they spend the Paper.
Don’t worry about that Map. Well, not unless the reset-Maps proposals both fail.
Or unless Brendan processes a Map before either of the reset-Map proposals enacts?
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
