If the proposal “Raise the Sails and Batten the Hatches!” failed, this proposal does nothing.
Create a new rule called “NPC Ships” with the following text:
In addition to Hunters, there exist ships not controlled by any Hunter. These ships are known as NPC Ships. Each NPC Ship has its own GNDT row. NPC Ships are not Hunters for the purposes of any rule unless that rule indicates otherwise. Each NPC Ship will be listed as a subrule of this rule.
Create a subrule of “NPC Ships” named “The Black Ship” with the following text:
The Black Ship is an NPC Ship. As a Daily Action, the Pirate can change the Black Ship’s location to any island with no Hunters on it.
When a Hunter changes their location to match the Black Ship’s, they must Fight the Black Ship. If they Lose, they must transfer 2 Pieces to the Black Ship and move 1 space on the grid. If they win, they may transfer 2 Pieces from the Black Ship to them and move the Black ship one space on the grid.
Set the Black Ship’s Location to CC. Set the Black Ship’s Pieces to 0. Set the Black Ship’s Name to “El Pollo Diablo (Galleon)”.
Create a subrule of “NPC Ships” named “The Golden Ship” with the following text:
The Golden Ship is an NPC Ship. As a Daily Action, the Pirate can change the Golden Ship’s location to any island with no Hunters on it; when they do, they must also set the Golden Ship’s Pieces to 4.
If a Hunter’s location matches the Golden Ship’s, they may Fight the Golden Ship as a Daily action. If they Win, they may transfer 4 Pieces from the Golden Ship to them.
Set the Golden Ship’s Location to AD. Set the Golden Ship’s Pieces to 4. Set the Golden Ships Name to “SIS Venturesome (Brigantine)”.
Arr, we be not the only ones seeking the lost treasure.
Kevan: he/him
Note: This seems to be missing a clause specifying that Ships (as well as Hunters) can have Pieces.
