Rename the rule “Defining Damage” to “Definitions”
Add the following to “Definitions”
A Creature is Spoiled if it is Properly Examined and either has no Loot or has been labeled Properly Examined for at least seven days
In the rule “Bring Out Your Dead!”
In Step 1 replace “The health of all creatures is checked” with “The health of all creatures which are not labeled Properly Examined is checked”
In Step 1 after “proceed to step 2.” and ” Otherwise, if any Creature is Spoiled proceed to step 3.”
In Step 2 replace “For each creature that has less than 0 health” with “For each creature which is not labeled Properly Examined and has less than 0 health”
In Step 3 replace “Remove any Properly Examined creatures” with “Remove any Spoiled creatures”
Currently, the game can get into a weird state where the Orc who dealt the killing blow can collect the loot, but then the creature is removed and we’ve lost track of the loot to collect.
So instead, keep the creatures around until they’ve been looted (or time out)
IceFromHell:
Note: Nice, but this still leaves a hole where creatures might get down to 0 hp and cannot be attacked, since they are dead, or Spoiled, since they don’t have less than 0 health. Maybe we could fix that here already?
