Proposal: Don’t call me old Foggy

Add sub-rule “Plot Influence” under rule “Weather”:

Whenever the weather is reported to have Fog, The Plot is Foggy as well. While The Plot is Foggy Characters may, as a weekly action, change a single sentence anywhere in the Present Time section for any other single sentence. This is known as Muddling the Past. The Character shall also make a story post detailing the correction on the Plots past events. Within 72 hours, the Narrator may increase or decrease the PP of the Character who Muddled the Past by 1.

Do you want people to write whatever they feel like or actually make a story? If previous events get too hard to keep track of, no-one will bother. Epic

Make a proposal that makes the story easier to follow, not harder.

Because of that, I added the option for Yoda to reward or punish changes to the storyline.

Yeah, but even though he can reward or punish the person, the muddling will still exist. If a person is on 0 pp already, it doesn’t matter if he loses one, because pp’s are non-negative.

(Example relating to the proposal David Hume’s Nightmare

OBJECTION
Replace:
Within 72 hours, the Narrator may increase or decrease the PP of the Character who Muddled the Past by 1.

With:
Within 72 hours, if the Narrator determines that the Muddle is logically inconsistent, they may revert to the previous copy of the wiki document, and penalise the character by subtracting 1pp from the character, unless that character has 0 pp.

(This would require a nomination and seconding and after editing the original proposal, it would be automatically reposted or all voting icons in the comments would be deleted)
