Add a subrule of Nosy Researchers titled “Reinitialization”:
When an AI is Reinitialized, all of their dynastic variables are set to the defaults.
An AI with a Suspicion that is 6 or more higher than the median Suspicion is Errant.
At any time, the Facility Head may Reinitialize an Errant AI whose Focus is a Monitored or Surveillance Location.
Good point on Surveillance.
I’m still not sure about what the right way to trigger Errancy is, but I’ve edited that. Using the median prevents a cabal of 2 going amok together.
this sounds like it could lead to a chain reaction: someone gets reinitialized, the median drops, someone else gets reinitialized…
also having such an important thing be based on emperor availability doesn’t sound great
if u want to key it to a specific time that guarantees my prompt availability, i’ve already arranged for myself to have daily responsibilities between midnight and 1 AM UTC every day, because i’m universally available at that time. it’s about midday for me!
this would reset favors
as someone who is anti-favor and is behind already because of favors, I’m like “lol let it”
as someone wants to see the favor mechanic fully explored before simply writing it off… make it so this doesn’t reset favors

aww, it’s 2 hours old now. well pokes i like this and i’d *definitely* vote yes on another version of this, but as-is i don’t want to risk unfairly vaporizing any of the (inherited) favours i owe. sorry but

“higher than each other AI’s suspicion plus 2” might need a smidge of clarifying, and if it means what i think it does (you only need to be 3 above 2nd place) that seems scarily easy to set off, but i like this a lot. scary is good!
oh also, Surveillance is meant to be the sort of perma-Monitored tag. is it intentional that u left that out of the last clause :O?
