Proposal: Echronomics

Timed out and passed, 9-0. Josh

Adminned at 03 Jun 2012 07:30:58 UTC

Add a new subrule to the Hard Rules, entitled Echronomics:

Any gamestate change that is triggered by the passage of time in a Dynastic Ruleset only takes place when it is occupied by a Time Monk.

To avoid me having to fulfil every “Once a week…” function in a hundred rulesets every Monday morning.

I’m not sure this is actually a problem - nowhere do we say that all rulesets are binding, only that “A Time Monk is subject to the Dynastic Rules of the final ruleset of the Dynasty that they occupy”.

The net effect is the same both ways, but it feels better to be explicit.

for If you like. Of course, fulfilling the “once a week…” functions in 20 different rulesets isn’t going to be a barrel of laughs either.

Yes, the rod that I have created for my own back is a source of concern, but we’ll see how we go.
