Einherjar Candidate: William Jennings Bryan

William Jennings Bryan
A US politician/Democratic presidential nominee, and a kind of 18th-century Howard Dean.  He didn’t get elected, but he made a lot of noise, though most people probably remember him best for arguing against the teaching evolution in the Scopes Trial.

High stats: Charisma, Mysticism
Low Stats: Combat, Wit, Artistry
Could go either way: Scholasticism

Gender: Male
Sanity: Sane
Honor:  I’ll say Honorable, but I’ll bet someone’s going to disagree.

And when I say 18th century, I of course mean 19th century/years beginning with 18.

Er, and come to think of it, he should probably have some Moxie too.

What happened to specifying numbers in the post? It seems unfair to force Hix to research the character and make the call, and it’d be better for other players if they had fair warning of a high-stat character being on its way (rather than having to wait to see what stats it gets when it hits the wiki).

Well, people seemed to be doing that.

Here’s some stats, though:
Charisma: +8
Mysticism: +6
Moxie: +3
Combat: -2
Artistry: -4
Wit: -4

That’s sort of rushed, but you get the idea.

Whether you specify exact values, or just give a general guideline—it usually doesn’t matter much to me.  I did have trouble with Leeroy Jenkins, since he was an internet phenomenon that I missed out on (for better or for worse).

Well, the Leeroy movie was pretty hilarious, but past that, I can’t say.
