Isn’t this a bit abusable, without a penalty for using an encrypted rule incorrectly? Any monk could just fire off huge, random “I gain 1 Integrity, Bucky loses 1, I win the game, all under secret rules” barrages to see if they hit anything, at no risk.
This does depend on what the encrypted rules actually do, though, so I’ll go with
The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. (Proverbs 10:8)
I am simply not sure that without an external check there is any way to control secret rule use.
You still have to use the Latin “magic string”, however, to use an encrypted rule.
I suppose I should have made that clearer when proposing.
I’m in favor of checking the actions against my list of magic strings and reverting ones where the string doesn’t match the rule.
