Given that three of the six proposals currently in the queue fix the Grand Canal issue in the ruleset, the real meat of this CfJ is in pinning down what the GC is for the currently running games. I’m a little averse to the idea that different games should have a different GC regime based on what players want (this CfJ is partly, I suspect, because Clucky would prefer the GC in his game to be the Queen, and the carve-out in my game is at least partly because I said that’s what I wanted in slack) - if this is going to impose a gamestate fix then it should be consistent and prepared to fail rather than tepidly nepotistic.
I guess I’m going to go
because I feel in my gut that it’s the Emperor’s job to be guarantor of the rules, and I’d like to see Kevan come down cleanly on how to rule should be interpreted and how he should respond to attempts to overturn his interpretation of the rules from the floor.
