Evil Poem: An Elegy to Purplebeard the Great

There once was an Overlord so evil
Who made all under his power to kneel.
    His power swept fast
    and his influence was vast,
And he now rests in the sea that is so tranquil.

Note: This was written after the death of Purplebeard and is a foreshadowing of events to come.

You lose 4 Intelligence for not using the correct meter and rhyming scheme.

Endless lobotomizations.
At this rate we’ll lose half our nations.
Pay closer attention
to rules I’ll re-mention,
else you’ll earn the IQ of crustaceans.

Syllables Eight in each line,
Count out your cadence like mine.
Rhyme thrice with a riddle,
and twice in the middle,
then end with a joke. You’ll do fine.

...

Nantucketty poems are dirty.
To jazz up the show they get wordy.
The ones that most sin
pack more syllables in,
sometimes 9, even 10 if it’s purdy.
