Proposal: Favorite sine flectu

Add the following text to the end of the rule “Favorites”:

For the purpose of matching Favorites to words, differences in pluralization, tense or grammatical aspect are considered to be irrelevant, as is the difference between the positive, comparative and superlative forms of an adjective.

They should still work if someone adds an “s” or “ing” to the end.

against I don’t know what “grammatical aspects” and “positive forms” are, but this bypasses the letter/Bank/Filler restrictions on setting Favorites: if a player uses the word “Best” in a Backronym for ABC, you can set a Favorite of “Good” in response (because “Good” doesn’t start with B or appear in the Word Bank) and then score “Best” for being the superlative version of it.

against per Kevan, solely on the first letter problem.

Positive form is the base form of an adjective.
Positive: Quick
Comparative: Quicker

Grammatical aspects was necessary to capture -ing for verbs.
