Append the following sentence after the first sentence in Core Rule “1.9 Victory and Ascension”:
A ‘’‘Henchman’‘’ may only create a DoV post once per Dynasty.
Perhaps not a Core Rule change, just a new Dynastic rule that hurts the GNDT stats of those who create a failed DoV? Like the aforementioned piranha tossing. That would be more in theme, I am sure. If some one proposes something to that effect I will s/k this one.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

The general rule of thumb when it comes to DoV’s has been that yes, people can abuse the system but if that happens repeatidly we can kick those people out of the game.
I have been in games where someone has posted a legit DoV, it has failed for some reason, and that person has still gone on to win. This proposal would prevent such cases. I would much rather trust people and deal with abuse when it arises then to restrict people in this manner.
