There are a few instances where it’s just “the Onlooker” without the extra “the”, and so replacing “the Onlooker” with just “Onlooker” makes the wording a bit awkward.

One example is the Special Case Dynastic Tracking, which if this Proposal were enacted, would then read, in part:

...Unless otherwise stated, all publicly tracked gamestate information is tracked on it. Onlooker may change the wiki page referred to in this rule…

suggesting “Onlooker” is a username rather than a title or role.

[Jonathan] Dynastic Tracking looks like a mistake that was there all along (the previous dynasty had it as “Narrator may change the wiki page…”). What are the other instances? If the chain of text replacement is “Narrator” → “The Onlooker” → “Onlooker”, I’d have thought we’d be okay.

Victory and Ascension: “When a DoV is Enacted, all other pending DoVs are Failed, the Settler who posted the DoV becomes The Onlooker”

Mentors: “...any Settler who has been active in at least three previous dynasties may act as The Onlooker for the purposes of this rule.”

To be fair, those are a bit less awkward because the connotation of those two sentences are in reference to a role or title.

Those were all being written without the the prior to this dynasty - I suppose they read better with some nouns than with others. Dynastic Tracking lost its the (illegally) during an ascension, Victory and Ascension in a 2021 proposal, Mentors came in like that.
