Proposal: Food Glorious Food

Self-killed, failed by Kevan.

Adminned at 16 Jan 2010 11:46:42 UTC

Add a dynastic rule entitled “Hunger” which reads as follows

Each guest has Hunger, this being a number between 0 and 10 tracked in the GNDT column “Hunger”.

If “Manor Plan” is a rule, add to the end of “Hunger”

A guest in the Dining Room, Kitchen or Parlor may eat, reducing their Hunger to 0.

This doesn’t do much now, but when the ruleset gets bigger we can create ways for hunger to increase, effects of high and low hunger, and rules for poisoning food.

Tentative against- I’d personally prefer this be restricted to a daily action, maybe that might not matter later though?

Why should eating be a daily action? :P

for We could maybe add that any guest with Hunger higher than 10 has his health status changed to “Dead”.
Also, every guest should begin with his Hunger equal to 0.

for Yep, that would be cool, but we can add that with other addendums like “When you kill someone, your hunger goes up by 2”

And I’m kidding about the example. =P

Actually- wait a sec. It MUST have a value between 0-10, supposedly cannot be “-”, yet no initial value has been set.

I’m torn. I wish there was a provision to flat-out unvote, but seeing as there is none: imperial

Well, Greytyphoon’s point is pretty important, though… Guests should begin with 0 hunger. Can someone make that proposal right now, so that we have only about an hour after this proposal is enacted ‘till we have a valid value in the “Hunger” column? Maybe we could even delay enactement of this one so that they are enacted at the same time. Just a thought…

It’s just that I don’t know what could happen if one’s hunger was defined as /null/.

Self kill.

I’m going to re-propose this with an initial value. I’m not sure how well starving to death will go over, so if someone else wants to propose that they can.

Also, the “This doesn’t do much now, but when the ruleset gets bigger we can create ways for hunger to increase, effects of high and low hunger, and rules for poisoning food.” is actually binding.
