Proposal: Fool’s Nomium

Fewer than a quorum not voting against. Failed 1 vote to 4 by Kevan.

Repeal the rule “Supremacy”.

I’m curious as to whether a quorum of current players think it’s possible for them to reach this victory condition before anyone else.

Only if the players in second, third and maybe fourth place all think that they can’t possibly win under it. Usually things happen too quickly (and involve enough secret plans or secret information) for enough players to be that confident.

Right now it’s a bit plainer, with TyGuy6 helping Cuddlebeam to win, and the three other players losing. Although you and Farsight can each block Cuddlebeam’s imminent win by gathering some Nomium right now (via Robotization and Benefits).

Yup. It’s “Benefit a Majority, Punish a Minority”.

A higher expression of it could be to just voting a winner among a quorum of players at the start of the dynasty or to take it impossible for those not in the quorum to achieve victory. Those are extreme but admittedly any change to a sufficiently mature game will nearly inevitably have some of this phenomenon involved.

It’s really just up to the players’s collective wants (moral, competitive, etc) how much Bampam is too much Bampam.
