Proposal: For the Red in all of us

Timed out. Failed to pass—Clucky

add a rule called Recycling that states:

If an Olympian has more TP than twice the sum of eir attributes, eir TP is taken from em and redistributed among the other Olympians so as to make every Olympian’s TP as equal as possible:

The Olympian’s TP is first taken from em and eir TP is set to 0. This TP is now redistributed:

The Olympian(s) with the lowest TP receives one TP. This process is done as many times as possible.

As soon as the amount of TP available is less than the number of Olympian’s who have the lowest amount of TP, the process stops, and the remaining TP is given back to the Olympian who had it taken from em.

This should give people who are playing a crack at all that TP that is just sitting unused. The Olympian who had the TP taken from them doesn’t end up with 0 though, if you’ll notice. E get as many points as if e started out with 0 TP, and e gets the remainder of the TP that didn’t divide nicely.

Technically, this could create an infinite loop. In more ways than one, actually. For starters, someone could have stats that totaled 8, and everyone else could have 18 TP. If e has 17 TP, the process never stops. Or if there is more TP than doubled stats, someone will always have too much.
