You’re not in the list of players in the sidebar yet, an admin has to add you there.

(There are two approval steps. One is being approved to post to the blog; that step is there to stop spambots I think. The other is becoming part of the game; people tend to drop in and out of it, so it can’t really be tied to having an account, and so there’s a separate step there. You’ve made your post saying hi, so one of them should add you when they get online.)

And Tantusar’s added you now. I can’t remember whether your existing vote counts or not, but you may as well make it again to be sure.

Yes, approval is to stop spambots - if players can create an account and post straight away, we get spam.

I suppose it might make some sense to tie account approval to becoming an active player, since very few people ask to arrive idle.
