In the Effect of Wastebin, replace “Boot” with “Bread”, “Candle” with “Corn”, “Fishbone” with “Flour”, “Pushpin” with “Paper”, “Sponge” with “Sugarcube” and “Whisk” with “Wheat”.
i’m a little attached to the junk names (especially fishbone), but i do like to see some more usefulness in the wastebin!
Hmmm, on the one thing, I like that this gives the Wastebin the potential for a useful, but flavorful payoff. But on the other hand, I don’t like the amount of randomness it brings to the table. A Wastebin activation can get you nothing, or it can get you a full farm’s worth of crops. 
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
