Proposal: Gamblers Anonymous [Core] [Special Case] [Appendix]

Self-killed. Josh

Throughout the ruleset, replace the term “Amnesiac” with “Gambler” and “Past Memory” with “Emperor”.

We really should change these to something. I tried it with randomly-rolled nouns, but they seemed a bit too weird, and maybe best limited to the Wheel.

imperial I was considering this, and picked exactly the same two words, so Kevan obviously has good taste.

However, doesn’t this break the Wheel? The word “Amnesiac” will probably also appear in segment effects at the time this proposal passes, and the proposal doesn’t change them.

[ais523] Good point, although it depends what enacts in the meantime. The Wideness of the Wheel is at quorum and rewords all Segments to just “Pays Segments”, so that’s fine. Taking inspiration from the segment names adds some Segments with the word “Amnesiac”, and is at 2-2 with one abstention, so could go either way.

Could the people who are voting against this also cast a vote on “Taking Inspiration”?

Ah, wait, Global Shares adds one too, and is at quorum.

So the problem is that this proposal doesn’t also change the name in the wiki page?
