Why is this any better than the existing set of “Monks with no Station”?

Because there is no set of “Monls with no station”, Monks with no station are not recognised as being such. All monks should have a purpose in life even if that is just General dogsbody.

I believe that is what the - represents.  It is fine to specify a category both by what they are and/or what they aren’t, so you can naturally infer this group from the existing ones.

My logic may not be perfect, but it’s basically agreeing with Kevan.

The only thing I object to here is the last sentence, “Taking this station has no effect on the game or the rest of the rules as they are now” because my experience shows we will probably forget to clean it up later.

I don’t see the problem.  I don’t see any benefit either, but that’s never stopped me before.
