1) According to GNO, this is not a faction post as a faction post within GNO would be of the form [GNO][Faction].

2) This can affect more than just the GNO relic because we have our own BLO, GNO, and MIC within GNO.

To quote the ruleset: “Only a faction proposal belonging to the same faction as the relic may create or change any rule regarding the relic.”

This doesn’t create or change any rules regarding the relics - it just gives me them.

Therefore, we don’t even need to use the subfactions. If this is enacted, I win.

It is still a faction post though. Any post starting with [faction] is a faction post. Even if it isn’t a faction post in GNO, it is still a faction post and so cannot hand out relics.

What Darth is saying is that it says nothing about directly giving the relics to someone, just creating or changing rules regarding relics.  Therefore, this proposal is legal because it does not create or change any rules regarding relics.

unfortunately, this is not true if you give yourself a relic from another faction.  In the over-arching gamestate, you don’t actually get the other relics, just yours.

But nothing explicitly says that.  The relics in general apply to all gamestates simply because they are in the Blognomic Ruleset.  There is no rule that says that one faction cannot directly grant another faction’s relic.

Faction posts are only within their own gamestate, and can’t effect anything outside of it.  Each faction ruleset is only in one gamestate.  The relics are each part of a faction, and in that faction’s gamestate.  Attempts to get relics from factions outside of yours count as outside of your faction’s gamestate, as they effect outside factions.  Plus, MIC could just give away their relic after Darth gets it.

I have no idea what this says. I am not even going to decrpyt it, but as a simple sheepish rubber-stamp voter I will vote for this. Let the chaos continue.
