Grind?

I’m seeing references in the GNDT to “grind”, but nothing in the ruleset. Any hints?

“Grindy” refers to a dynasty where whoever gets on the most wins. “Grinding” refers to a daily action that (for example) gives you points.

Ah, so “double grind” is a “two daily actions”, presumably…

In this case, timed actions. Similar though. You have to pick it up from context.

Gotcha. I keep getting confused with daily and timed. :)

Timed will cease to exist at the end of this dynasty anyway.

And hm, has ExpressionEngine always stripped round brackets out of URLs like that? Here’s a different, working link.

I’m familiar with the gaming sense… as in MMOs where you have to do the same damn thing over and over, but it was the particular usage here that confused me a bit. Just wanted to make sure that I hadn’t missed a part of the rules.
