I’m personally not a fan of the idea of gaining Kudos by means other than winning votes but won’t stand in the way if the players want something like this.

I’m also a little confused how this works. You exchange the set for 5 Kudos. But then you get an additional “n Kudos to their Kudos count, where n is the total value of the Pieces of Art being exchanged, in dollars, divided by 1000 and then rounded up.”??

Collections do have to do something, which means that sooner or later it should influence kudos, so I don’t share that objection from Clucky. I am tepid on the ludonarrative dissonance, although I guess we could handwave it away as “loaning to a museum” or something.

Well, my thinking was that once an art was in the public collection, someone might figure out a way to get art from there. However, I will say that if this proposal fails because of exact implementation and not general idea, it could be possible to reword exactly what sets would do. Something that this proposal would have to have done along with it is start tracking which artist/round each piece of art came from.

I’m a fan of the idea of collecting sets of paintings and think you should expand on that. I just want the primary goal to be to win votes and everything else augment that. Which means kudos should come from winning votes.

I see. I’ll have to put some serious thought into how I should take this from here.
