Add a new rule, called “Winner Medallions”:
Each Gambler has an integer number of Winner Medallions, tracked on “The Wheel” Wiki page, defaulting
to zero.
Add a new rule, called “High-Stakes Table”:
The High-Stakes Table is a second, 6-Segment Wheel tracked on “The Wheel” Wiki Page. The High-Stakes
Table consists of an ordered list of the Segments which are on it. Each Segment has a Name, a Payout,
and a Table Effect.A Gambler can pay one Plaque to “Buy In” at the High-Stakes Table. A Gambler who has “Bought In” has
a High-Stakes Wager (hereafter refered to in the rules as HSW). An HSW is a Gambler’s choice of a
Segment from the High-Stakes Table. A Gambler cannot change their HSW until after the High-Stakes is
Spun. Once at least 3 Gamblers have “Bought In”, but no Gamblers have “Bought In” for 24 Hours, a
Gambler that has “Bought In” may Spin the High-Stakes Table by performing the following Atomic
Actions:*Roll DICE6: that Segment of the High-Stakes Table becomes the Table Marker.
*Apply the Payout of the Table Marker, to every Gambler with the Segment in their HSW.
*If any Gambler has the Table Marker in their HSW, apply the Table Effect of the Table Marker.
*remove all Gambler’s HSW. All Gamblers are no longer “Bought In.”
Create the High Stakes Table with the following segments:
Number: Name|Payout|Table Effect
1: Figure|Gain 1 Winner Medallion | This Segment appears Twice on the High-Stakes Table
2: Figure|Gain 1 Winner Medallion | This Segment appears Twice on the High-Stakes Table
3: Overreact| Gain 1 Winner Medallion|If only one Gambler has Wagered on this Segment, they instead gain 3 Winner Medallions
4: Uncanny|Gain 3 Winner Medallions|Any Gambler at the High-Stakes Table that did not Wager on this Segment gets 1 Winner Medallion
5:Humped|Nothing|Nothing
6: Chirpy - Gain 2 Winner Medallions|All Gamblers at the High-Stakes Table lose 2 Annoyingness.

There are some side-effects in reusing the “Segments” terminology, here: all of the High Stakes Segments will be Primed and end up on the main Wheel (“Spare Segments are segments that are not on the wheel. [...] A Spare Segment may be Primed. By default it is Primed.”). We’d probably have time to take them off again with another proposal, though.
But more broadly: I like the idea of a second and more exclusive table, but don’t think a second tier of (shiny but still currently meaningless) prizes would add much, particularly when only a couple of players have gotten Plaques, and it’s since become harder to win them.
