Append a note to the end of the ‘Hostile Takeover’ to the following effect:
Note: The limitation stating that only one event may be fomented does not apply to Hostile Takeovers. Any one other event may be fomented in addition to any number of Hostile Takeovers. However, only one Hostile Takeover may be fomented by a country in a given territory at a given time.
Hostile Takeovers should consume as much attention as the other events.
from subrule events:
‘Often, a Country may pay the cost listed to advance A fomenting Event one Period.’
So this proposal doesn’t change much in taking over 2 territories at once.
The current ruling at least gives us a change to move into an occupied territory while the occupying country is fomenting a takeover in another territory to seriously annoy em, and I like annoying others.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
