Are we ok leaving the definition of “same place” loose and up to a vote to decide? Earth is the “same place” if you extend the definition far enough.

I’m torn on this because I like the concept, but this feels strongly biased towards people who live in the same geographical area…

@Clucky Yeah I worried about that. I kept it in because we can have other Upgrade Benchmarks, and because we don’t have to take photos ourselves, the party to whom this is really biased might actually be the quite geographically remote…

Hard disagree there, @Josh. With No Cooperation on, it’s very difficult to get a photo taken by another player else that fulfills the conditions one would want. I think a better benchmark might have been similar-looking pictures by different players, rather than location.

I like the idea of upgrades but as far as I know, no pair of players are in anything like a similar location except for Kevan and Josh.

Again, I’m not sure it’s an advantage. If I want to play defensively to prevent Kevan getting an advantage (and remember, I am emperor, I can’t win myself) then I have to work a lot harder to obscure my trail.

I appreciate that this Proposal may be an attempt to encourage Seekers to find similar spaces near each other for Snaps (or conversely, avoid each other if any of us are geographically close), but practically speaking, I don’t think it’s going to work out except for the two of you chasing each other around UK locations, which isn’t much fun for the rest of us.

As Josh can’t win, a rule that helps Kevan weirdly I think is beneficial at this stage in the game as it’ll help break up any sort of Kevan/Pokes/JonathanDark cabal that is focused in keeping power among the three of them
