Append to “Background”
The Expedition Leader cannot publicly or privately reveal the Backgrounds of any Explorer unless instructed to do so by a rule.
In “Background” change the spy entry to:
*Spy: A Spy may, once only, during this Dynasty private message the Expedition Leader that they spy on a particular Explorer, the Expedition Leader then tells the spy a random background of the person they are spying on.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

The Scholar and the Spy seem very weak to me. I believe this is a good idea, but they both definitely need more later on imo.
