The most recent Scoring Proposal is Ambiguity, which passed more than 92 hours ago. I have therefore been Current Leader for longer than my timer and have achieved victory.
Should’ve realized a bit before that I have no chance in this Dynasty.
I should note that Trapdoorspyder and Cuddlebeam both earned 10% each winshare. Trapdoor sold me an sk and a veto, while Cuddlebeam changes his vote on this one to keep Current Leader in my hands and generally stayed quiet once he’d spotted that the Veto proposal was a move.
I just did the mantle pass roll - presumptuous, I know - and neither of their numbers came up, so I won’t be passing rhe mantle, but I am grateful for their assistance.
This win is actually a lot cleverer than it looks at first glance: when “Adheres Demonstrably, Highlighting Essential Ridiculousness, Excessively Scrupulous” passed, it retroactively rewound Josh’s victory timer to the time of a previous proposal, so there was less time remaining than everyone else thought.
I was expecting this dynasty to end fairly quickly. This is faster than I expected, but I’m still not disappointed at the win.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
