In “Command Roles”, replace “On Demands or Trials, votes of DEFERENTIAL reflect the EVC of the Mediator, rather than the EVC of the Ship’s Computer.” with:-
On Demands and Trials, votes of DEFERENTIAL are considered to be the same as the Mediator’s Vote.
and add:
On Proposals where the Ship’s Computer has voted DEFERENTIAL, votes of DEFERENTIAL are considered to be the same as the Mediator’s Vote, rather than the Computer’s Vote.
Extending the Mediator’s EVC takeover to Proposals that I’m passing on: I’ve been tending towards deferring on pure gameplay proposals, to let the crew decide amongst themselves, but I’d rather that this didn’t slow the queue. (Fixing the wording of the first bit while I’m here - per 1.5.1, the Computer DEF effect only occurs on Proposals, not Votable Matters, so it’s not a “rather than”.)
