the activity report outlined in The Search was intended to be a way for us to see Josh’s creative naming schemes so we could make better guesses. it gets a lot less interesting and more muddy if its listing thirty variations on the same four-word formula. ultimately, these two proposals are redundant, because they both serve the function of narrowing down the possibilities to make it feasible to guess names. it’s clear that people like them both, but i don’t think they can actually coexist!
i wanted to get this in before anyone else made any more proposals that interacted with the symbol name rules, to avoid things getting too complicated. but if this proposal fails, i’ll vote for JonathanDark’s idea to reconcile the two :0
