Move “, and the Overlord’s Standing to be increased by the total of these die rolls” from its current location in “Doomsday Device” to the end of the last sentence of the second paragraph.

If “Proposal: Fix Sinister Machinations” passes, add 2 to Jay’s standing (for that proposal) and 4 to Ornithopter’s (for 2 passing proposals between that one and “Proposal: Derisive Politics and Hardware”).

for Shouldn’t I also get additional standing? (for the creation of the new enemy groups, or do I just don’t get it?) Wait, I think I’m confusing the increase from proposals (rule: politics) with the increase from sinister machinations.

Do we want to link the increase from standing to the increase of influence in a region?

I think that was the original intention, but due to some bad clause placements and ambiguity you don’t get standing for passing a proposal unless the continent you are on is the lowest or ties for the lowest influence after the +2 increase.  At least, that’s how I interpreted it.

Yeah, that clause kinda screwed up the Standing bonus. Perhaps Soyweiser, you should propose to move that clause up one sentence and get 2 standing?
