Proposal: Infinite parcels are bad

If there is not a subrule of “Obtainment” entitled “Relinquishment” create one. Replace the test of the subrule “Relinquishment” with:

A Noble may Relinquish any Title they hold by making it an Abeyant Title. A Noble gains 9 Wealth for Relinquishing a Dukedom, 6 Wealth for Relinquishing an Earldom, and 3 Wealth for Relinquishing a Barony. They must then transfer 1 wealth to any Noble which holds Lordship over that Title.

Need to nerf the price you can sell stuff for, otherwise someone with no Earldoms can get parcels for free. This would let them buy parcels at two instead of 3, but like whatever. Don’t want to make it too weak, right?

Wouldn’t this mean you could still get buy-one-get-one parcels by buying Dukedoms?

Also, not sure how hard core syntax needs to be, but will “replace the test” cause problems?

eh probably not.

Sure. If you no one else in your dukedom you can get cheap parcels. I’m okay with with that. You can’t get infinite parcels and if someone else is in the dukedom they start having to get paid so its not a big deal.

for Fixes the infinite parcels thing (as far as I can see), was thinking of submitting a similar fix (minus the wealth payment part, I like that!)

Sort of better, but it kind of eliminates the tradeoff and makes the whole action negative.

against Better fix: Just subtract 3 from the gain of Relinquishing an Earldom and 6 for a Dukedom.
