To “Attractions and Queues”, replace “The Proprietor may re-order Attractions within the Visitor Center but should only move recently added Attractions.” with:-

Attractions may not be reordered within the Visitor Center, and new additions default to being positioned at the bottom of the list there unless otherwise specified.

Then add to that rule:-

The walking distance in minutes between two Attractions is the number of other Attractions listed between them in the Visitor Center, plus one.

Replace “A Visitor may Walk to any non-Gated Attraction” with:-

A Visitor may Walk to any non-Gated Attraction within five minutes’ walking distance

Replace “Each Visitor may Rush a Queue” with:-

Each Visitor may Rush a Queue within five minutes’ walking distance

In the Visitor Center, move the Plaza to be between the Maze Line and the Bathroom, then move the Gift Shop to be between the Plaza and the Bathroom.

Locking the map down (how recently is “recently added” anyway?), and limiting how far you can get across the park in a turn.

I’ve been keeping the Robot Race at the end and lines immediately after what they’d otherwise lead to, but otherwise following the bottom default.

I don’t think “limiting how far you can get across the park in a turn” is even a good idea, but this proposal doesn’t actually accomplish that.

With the victory proposal recently enacted, this rule doesn’t enhance the strategy of winning. All it does is prolong the time until someone might be able to achieve victory.

[Bucky] Are you going to tell us why you think this proposal doesn’t work, or do we just have to take your word on it?

[Jonathan] It can’t prolong the time to victory if victory is always going to happen on a fixed date! It changes the terrain we all have to navigate to get there, adding some complexity and strategy to the gameplay decisions if visitors can’t move entirely freely. It also adds a new variable to the game - how far visitors can walk in a turn - which other rules can build on to add further complexity.

against Now that I seem to have blocked myself from winning I guess we’re on an “anyone but Kevan” kick; sorry Kevan. JonathanDark, let me know how I can help!

[Kevan] There’s no frequency limit on Walking, nor should there be. Therefore, Visitors can still go anywhere non-gated from anywhere but the Maze in a turn, they just need to take multiple Traffic Actions to get there.

Oh, I didn’t notice that. So why shouldn’t there be a frequency limit on Walking?
