Proposal: James Dean Daydream

Reached Quorum 5-0. Enacted by JonathanDark.

Add the following to “Style”

The Fashion Score for a Style is equal to the total number of Stars held by all Wizards who have that Style. The Fashion Score for None is always 0.

A Style is In Fashion if its Fashion Score is greater than the Fashion Score for all other Styles of that same type.

A Wizard is Trendy if all their Styles are In Fashion

Part of me is hoping that this idea takes off and the win condition is based on Wizard fashion rather than spellcasting prowess.

Also, Robes don’t have “None” (no naked Wizards!), but “Plain” instead as the default. Should the Fashion Score for that be 0 as well, or can “Plain” be In Fashion?

lol I had a victory condition in here around getting to be stylish and casting a spell and then staying stylish but didn’t wanna over complicate things and risk the early win con -> early scam -> early dynasty over problem

I don’t know what the gameplay impact is yet, but I love the flavor. Greentick after the edit window. I agree with Jonathan that maybe it should treat “Plain” as the Robe equivalent of None.

Right now you can switch to “Plain” but can’t switch to “None” so it made sense to me to keep the rules around whats fashionable in line with that
