Proposal: Job’s Done

Add a new rule, “Vanquishing Evil”:-

If every Beast is Slain and a single Knight has more Gold than every other Knight, then that Knight retires to found his or her own fiefdom and has achieved victory. (Once a Knight has retired to found his or her own fiefdom, no other Knight may do so.)

Testing the theory that the end of week two is the average dynastic midpoint, and the best time to introduce a victory condition.

It seemed better to have a one-off victory as soon as the last beast died, rather than allowing a close competitor to join the parade by selling a weapon before the winner made a DoV.

What is BlogNomic?

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
