In rule 2.11 (Countdown), replace the text:

There exists a time bomb with a timer, which starts at 10 and is tracked in the sidebar. If there have been no new proposals within the past 48 hours, and if the timer has not been decremented in the past 48 hours, any Admin may make a blog post announcing this, and may decrement the timer value.

with the text:

There exists a time bomb with a timer, which starts at 10 and is tracked in the sidebar. If there have been no new proposals within the past 48 hours and the timer has not been decremented in the past 48 hours, any Admin may make a blog post announcing this, and may decrement the timer value by 1.

I was just worried that someone might abuse this big-time. I’m not giving out names, but I have sudden reason to worry.

There’s no reason that this couldn’t be a proposal, though. Even if no proposals were made after this one, the proposal would still pass before someone had a chance to decrement the timer. With a CfJ, it could take up to 4 days to pass if it never reaches quorum.
