Upon the adoption of this proposal, Rule 2.11 “Act of Contrition” is repealed and any posted Requests for Forgiveness that, as of that time, have not yet resulted in the requesting Olympian’s having eir Popularity reset to zero (0) shall be of no further force or effect.

Fair enough, but the principal thing I’m trying to address here is the pile-on of additional forgiveness for people who have already been forgiven.
