Look, I’m doing well, as far as I know.  I’ve worked hard to save Jason.  It is nearly the end of the dynasty, and I am ahead by a lot.  Trying to keep what I did from working just now is not a very good-spirited thing to do, especially when you were the one who spoke against that style of gameplay earlier.

for In the end this basically is what I proposed in the proposal that got vetoed by the proposer of this one.

Oh, and the end will probably come before this proposal passes.

I liked what Yoda was trying to do with this Dynasty, but I would not like to see the same scoring mechanic ever utilized again.

Make a post, spend money, get a point. That’s the ballgame. It’s not exciting to develop plots when the plots themselves are irrelevant to the Nomic game itself.

In the future, this would be improved by having PPs & such handed out by FOR votes, like any post was a proposal. That would retain the core Nomic mechanic and lessen the “post post post post” mentality currently in place.

None of this is a shot at Rodlen, who worked hard and cared about the outcome (win or lose). It’s just that the “post, score” mechanic makes the Dynasty less interesting, and then once we try to change it everyone calls it an attack on Rodlen/the leader.

Which it is; but that doesn’t mean it’s still not in the spirit of the game.

I’d prefer not to have a last minute rule change that changes the winner simply for the sake to change the winner.
