I am still an Oligarch for dynastic rules, and thus can never become Despot. Should fix.
Not sure I see the problem here. How does “An Interim Despot who has been Interim Despot for three consecutive days since they were last an Oligarch then becomes the Despot.” not trigger?
Because last they were an Oligarch was currently.

Well, Clucky has been personally connected to recent raids on the Bank and the inexplicable arrest of my Flunky, so I can’t say I have any current reason to support the final stage of this new regime’s rise to power.
The point of Interim Despot was to make it something between the Despot and an Oligarch, so I’d vote for omitting the “since they were last an Oligarch” from the other text. It should also fix the problem.
Ice, the issue with fixing it that way is that if someone has been Interim Despot for three days, becomes Despot, gets Deposed, and then Deposes someone else, they immediately become Despot. Though that would be very unlikely.
Hum, you’re right. But I still think the interim despot should count as an Oligarch so he can, for example, be a target of a flunk.
