Proposal: Let’s be Realistic

7-0.  Reached quorurm.  Angry Grasshopper wins this dynasty, despite being Idle.  Feel free to CfJ if you disagree.

Excalabur controls 10 territories, and is in the process of acquiring more. Thats a minimum of 30 cumulative attacks and invasions to reduce those holdings to 0. And that’s assuming the attacks are maximally effective. At our blistering pace, I don’t think anyone has a snowball’s chance in Greater Erg of succeeding, but I’d like to give some reward for at least trying.

Add to the rule Victory Condition:-

When a Country successfully Invades a Territory, e may modify the date by which the Hegemonist can declare victory by up to 3 days.

If, with the final votes on this Proposal a majority say “Just end it, already!” and nominate a Country (apart from emselves), and if there is no tie for the top nomination, then the Country with the most nominations wins this dynasty.

Also, I don’t mean to ruffle feathers with voting to end this dynasty, I would just like to be playing at the beginning of the next one, so the ruleset isn’t quite as intimidating.

Last comment before I enact this:  While I /could/ veto this, and probably win the dynasty, that might be construed as egregious use of my veto, and I hate doing things like that.  I think this proposal would have worked much better as two separate proposals, especially given that smith had the slots available.
