Proposal: Let’s End that Round

Self-Killed ~ southpointingchariot

Substitute “round” for “game” in rule 2.7 “The End”.

Well, I was not planning to use my slots today anyway.

against I do believe you mean ‘dynasty’? ‘Round’ is undefined.

Wait.
No, I do mean round. The point is precisely that it is not defined anywhere else.

Patrick, that doesn’t work. Once you’ve self-killed a proposal you can’t undo it.

Well, a new Dynasty begins when a Declaration of Victory is enacted, and I think it’s reasonable to assume that the current Dynasty ends when a new Dynasty begins. I picked ‘round’ because it was free.

It’d make no sense to use “Dynasty” here, we’d end up with “the dynasty ends when a player has declared victory and ascended; when this happens, the Player with the most Councilmen gains some bonus Power and the Player with the most Power wins the new dynasty”. (Except that the ascension would probably repeal Rule 2.7.)
