It will delete our green square on 27, which might have a major strategic effect? So it isn’t entirely useless.

It does seem that when we get more purple squares, it will be quite difficult to do correctly, though.

That said, I agree with ais that this is more work than most people will want to do. The counter-argument is, “well, you don’t have to do it,” to which the counter-counter-argument is, “if I don’t do it, I’m ceding potential strategic advantage to those that are willing to do it.”

It’s a funny idea, but

This is probably more powerful than it looks, which is not a good fit for something that most players won’t want to do.
