Proposal: Make exorcists great again

In the rule “Boons”, amend Exorcist as follows:

Exorcist: New Action: Banish: If during this Battle you used your last two Battle Actions to perform Banish, reduce the Monster’s HP by (15+X)% of its Max HP value, where X is the amount of Exorcist Boons you have.

Banishment has proved underwhelming so far, and I think it’s a shame. I’m making it more worth one’s while (whether Bulk Bye passes or not), and I’m also tightening the requirements slightly.

against I thought 12+X was too high. It almost becomes a better gunner at that point, even with monster HP at 100.

But it’s spread over three rounds, which (with this proposal) have to be continuous. 20 HP over three rounds is less than 7 HP per round.

Or double that for a bigger monster, which is kind of the point of exorcism. 40 HP per round, from a single adventurer.

Still, 5+X is too low, and I’d rather see the exorcist draw the Monster’s ire than the healer (which makes for a faintly ridiculous situation in the current Battle).
